Wetech is a non-profit organization that focuses on empowering women in the tech space. We are looking for a Content Designer to join our team and help us build and engage with our community of women in tech.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Content Design Manager, you will assist in creating and managing content designs that will be used across our social media platforms, as well as for product branding and event branding initiatives.
• Collaborate with other team members to create visually compelling designs for specific programs and events.
• Cultivate a highly creative and generative mindset, generating original design concepts and delivering visually appealing content.
• Showcase great communication skills, facilitating collaborative interactions and articulating design decisions effectively within the team.
• Exhibit effective time management skills to consistently meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality designs in a timely manner.
• Embrace openness to constructive feedback and adeptly incorporate feedback into design iterations to enhance overall quality.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall content design strategies of Wetech.

Requirements

• Passionate about women empowerment and have an interest in the tech space.
• Experience in graphics design, product design or related fields.
• Proficiency in utilizing design tools, with a strong emphasis on Figma and working knowledge of Canva.
• Possess a highly creative and generative mindset, capable of ideating original design concepts and producing visually appealing content.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
